in 1996 as a private company based in Philadelphia. Committed to fighting
the war against urban decay, our contribution to this struggle is made by
purchasing distressed property in low-income neighborhoods for the purposes
of rehabilitation and resale. This activity strengthens neighborhoods by
placing families into professionally rehabilitated homes and businesses that
were once vacant and/or dilapidated. Urban Development Corporation believes
that the problems facing our nations cities need attention from the private
sector if they are to be resolved.
In order to sustain our crew between rehabilitation projects, Urban
Development Corporation offers a variety of goods and services to the
public. Architecturals.net was developed as a result of the aforementioned
goods and services. We began by selling Architectural Antiques from the
Urban Development Corporation web site at: http://www.urbandevelopmentcorp.com.
The architectural antiques were gathered as a result of our real estate and
construction activities.

Services- hot knife patching, matching and blending color and stains,
finish matching, refinishing, refurbishing, restoration and conservation of new
and old finishes, as well as faux finishes, gold leaf, ebonizing and all other
custom or clear finishes.
Wood Parts Fabrication- Lathe work, carving (repair or complete
duplication), matched grain wood splicing, veneer (splicing, repair or complete
cover) and laminations.
Leather & Vinyl Repair- Patching, re-graining & color matching.
Upholstery- Fabric repairs, panel installation, frame repair, and mechanical
installation. Full upholstery is provided by a third party provider.
Hardware Replication- Pieces are hand cast using hot or cold methods in a
variety of metals, patinas are matched and metal spinning and repair are
available.
Stone/Marble- Cleaning and repair for stone and other types of art ware.
Property Damage- Dry wall repair and painting, molding repairs and replacements,
as well as all types of floor repairs.
Replacements- Locating replacement good’s, china, silverware, etc.
Third Party Services- A wide variety of specialized third party services are
available upon request. It is our policy, to arrange for these services (with
your authorization) and to have them work with you directly.
